Caltech Water is hiring. Currently the positions of Office Manager – Irvine, Technical Water Outside Sales Representative – Northern California, and Technical Water Inside Sales – Irvine are posted.

Responsibilities: The position of Office Manager is responsible for taking and routing incoming phone calls, filing, Quickbooks, invoicing, expense report processing, and light house-keeping.
Requirements: The requirements of the position of Office Manager include a high school diploma or GRE. On the job training will be provided; this training will include how to use Quickbooks, Pipedrive, Outlook, and Excel. A background check will also have to be successfully completed.
Compensation: The position of Office Manager is a 20 to 30 hour part time position at $12.00 to $18.00 per hour commensurate with experience and is ideal for a working parent that needs flexible hours and only wants to work while their child is in school.

Requirements:
Maintain and grow the northern California sales territory so that growth comes from each manufacturer’s product line (the Northern California sales territory is defined from San Luis Obispo and North to the Oregon border over to Visalia and North to the Oregon border).
Respond to voice mails and emails within 24 hours
Learn the product lines of each manufacturer – including the competitive advantages each has and how to take these to market
Track sales activity in Pipedrive
Attend weekly sales teleconference
Make joint sales calls with manufacturer’s factory sales reps
Attend trade shows as required
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, chemistry, engineering or a similar degree
10+ years of successful technical outside sales in multiple water markets such as drinking water, groundwater, stormwater, process water, produced water or wastewater
Valid California driver’s licence
Ability to work 40+ hours per week from a home office and out making face-to-face sales calls
Pass a background check
Compensation:
This is a 100% commission position with a draw against commission of between $24,000 and $36,000 for the first 12 to 24 months. Annual compensation once at plan should exceed $150,000 per year and company provided medical insurance by year two. Partnership is available and the desired goal for the right person.

Support CalTech Water’s outside sales activity via maintaining and growing the California customer base for each manufacturer by reaching out to each contact as appropriate through follow up email and phone calls. Contact should be to discover any issues that need to be resolved; obtain re-orders if appropriate; upsell product line and cross sell product line across all manufacturers where apprpriate.

Requirements:
High school diploma and some college coursework in biochemistry, chemistry, engineering or similar curriculum from an accredited college or university. On the job training will be provided on each manufacturer’s product line, sales, Outlook, Pipedrive – as well as phone and email etiquette. Prior experience in water markets such as drinking water, groundwater, stormwater, process water, produced water or wastewater is helpful.
Ability to work 40+ hours per week from CalTech’s office in Irvine, California
