No. The “cost of sales” for a company runs about 10% of the purchase price. The fee that CalTech Water charges manufacturers who outsource their sales with us is around 3% to 5% of the purchase price – allowing the manufacturer to be more cost competitive vs. carrying a direct factory sales force. Manufacturers representative firms like CalTech Water represent more than one manufacturer so the cost of sales is spread out, and thus lower for the manufacturer; it is an economy of scale.
