CalTech Water is currently searching for a Technical Water Sales Representative for Northern California
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and grow the northern California sales territory so that growth comes from manufacturer’s product line; Northern California is defined from San Luis Obispo and North to the Oregon border over to Visalia and North to the Oregon border.
Respond to voice mails and emails within 24 hours
Learn the product lines of each manufacturer – including the competitive advantages each has and how to take these to market
Track sales activity in Pipedrive
Attend weekly sales teleconference
Make joint sales calls with manufacturer’s factory sales reps
Attend trade shows as required
Provide monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, chemistry, engineering or a similar degree
10+ years of successful technical outside sales in multiple water markets such as drinking water, groundwater, stormwater, process water, produced water or wastewater
Valid California driver’s licence
Ability to work 40+ hours per week from a home office and out making face-to-face sales calls
Pass a background check
Compensation:
This is a 100% commission position with a draw against commission of between $24,000 and $36,000 for the first 12 to 24 months. Annual compensation once at plan should exceed $150,000 per year and company provided medical insurance by year two. Partnership is available and the desired goal for the right person.
